Thanks a lot. I did not know about this way of running a vm in guix, it
is quite convenient. It took me a bit of searching to change the
keyboard layout to azerty in console (for sway, I just took what I had
done already), but it works.

Now that I know about this, I'll try other setups in a virtual machine.
