Dovecot used to write logs to /var/log/maillog by default. However, I've just noticed that the last message on my server is from March 9. I remember that there was a change around that time in how shepherd processes log messages. Instead, I can see recent log messages in "sudo herd status dovecot" output. There may be better ways to look them up. Roman
