Good morning.

I reviewed the package module and while I did find an issue, that issue was
unrelated to your problem.

Why the use of time-machine?

I have not looked at the package code for months now, it builds for me
perfectly fine all the time, as it is included in one of my systems’.
The reason why I have not looked is that I have way too many things that I want
to do and I got lost in the organizational mess.

Honestly, I do not even know if it actually works all the way to the intended
usability.
All I know it builds and executes.
When I ran it just now (with the --cli flag), it even told me that installed a
new version.
How it works with the read-only Guix store is beyond me.

Thank you for the compliment.

I am in the process of purchasing a support service with Guixotic.
One of the questions I intend to ask them is to help me craft a contribution
workflow customized to myself.
When it is complete I will start regularly contributing.
