I have no good news I am afraid. For a while there was a fairly simple fix that just did not get merged, but then we got few rounds of rust upgrades (man I hate rust), and I was not able to compile the package after that. Upgrade would probably help, but I looked at the definition and it is beyond my understanding (e.g., why is %preserved-third-party-files passed to --do-remove?). I tried twice, and gave up both times. For the time being, I am running the last compiled version directly from the store, which sucks, but is good enough for a "slack huddle client" I need once a day for 5 minutes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Tomas PS: If main reason for not doing the upgrade is the required compute, I can offer (limited to committers) a shell access to a build server to use for this. Well, I somehow doubt that is the main reason this package is broken, but worth the shot. -- There are only two hard things in Computer Science: cache invalidation, naming things and off-by-one errors.
