Welcome to the Hurd.  Do not worry about this message.  Your hda4 is just
the holding partition for hda5 onwards.  PCs can only have four primary
partitions :-)  This message is harmless.

Make this a permanent mount, and add some swap too.

Any partition for the Hurd must be 1Gb or less.
