my procedure under FreeBSD:
$ ftp ftp> open ftp.gnuab.org ftp: hostname nor servname provided, or not known ftp>bye $ traceroute ftp.gnuab.org traceroute: unknown host ftp.gnuab.org $
And yes it is not a problem of my site, because I can reach without problems any other ftp-sites...
