Hi, I'm using GNU make 3.79 on Windows 2000.
I'd like to save the value of a variable to a file. In the past, I've used "echo $(VAR) > filename". But now I have a variable that contains a long list of filenames and this command generates a "The input line is too long" error because it exceeds the maximum length for a Windows command line. Any advice?
