He said he's using 3.80, and I tried an archived version of vanilla 3.80
I have in my "old releases" directory, and it worked for me.
I have a vague recollection of a problem where GNU make would throw out
patterns that relied on directories that didn't exist, but that must
have been something different because it works for me.
Of course, if you want, Angel, you can try the latest beta for the next
release of GNU make:
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/make/make-3.81beta3.tar.gz
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/make/make-3.81beta3.tar.bz2
and see if that helps. But, as I said, vanilla 3.80 works for me so it
doesn't seem like this is a bug that would have been fixed.
