They don't belong into VisualGST and they are useful to write GTK applications. E.g. I plan to add some event looper helper to GTKTools. This way multiple GTKTools users can make sure that there is exactly one event loop running. E.g. for a visual Object>>#inspect implementation. Do you know why you don't like this very much?
