Hi Eric,
there is no hello.png file in mydir/HTML/images
Please, tell me how to resolve my problem
Right now, makeinfo is not programmed to copy image files.
You have to make any needed copies by hand.
I'm not entirely sure that it should do copying. People might prefer to
have symlinks, or use an image directory, or any number of other
arrangements. And if the HTML output is monolithic, it'd be copying
files into some random directory and possibly overwriting existing (but
possibly different) files. None of that sounds good. On the other
hand, it's clearly bad to be outputting HTML where the images don't
resolve. Maybe it has to be an option. And then there is the question
of other formats ...
Anyway, thanks for mentioning it. I'll put it on the list.
Best,
Karl
