Looks like the will_paginate plugin has issues with 2.2. I found some
advice online which lead me to uninstall the plugin and instead
install the gem which has been enhanced and appears to be backwards
compatible, as well as playing nice with 2.2. So, here is a quick
summary of issues and solutions based on my gems and plugins which
might help someone get through this more smoothly:

1 - Open ID Authentication - remove all your vendor stuff and re-add.
2 - If you have issues with attachment_fu, check if you are
using :heroku and try :file_system backend instead, just in case.
3 - If you used will_paginate, try removing the plugin and adding the
gem instead.

Maybe a running list of gem/plugin version-related issues would be a
useful thing to have. Heroku seems to handle the switch to 2.2
marvelously, but that may not be true for specific 3rd party bits :-)
