I've also been having 500 errors intermittantly for the last week or two. It varies from not being able to log in and edit, to not being able to access the application. Currently I can access the web-based editor but getting 504's trying to access the application... http://f1cms.herokugarden.com. Is there any official line for the underlying cause of these problems?
