I have a different take. I designed an airlock into my 6' wall hexayurt last year, but lost the inner door to a sudden gust of wind (into five pieces) before I could install it. I still built the airlock without the inner door. My experience was that there was so little dust inside, I really didn't need an airlock. It wasn't totally dust-free, true, but compared to any other structure I've built or seen, the hexayurt is superior in lack of dust. I will still use the wanna-be airlock as a vestibule in this year's HY.
