Hello all, Recently joined the list and am looking at building a hexayurt for Burning Man this year. Looking at http://www.appropedia.org/Hexayurt_playa it says I need 2 rolls of filament tape (which I have) and 12 sheets of material (I think I will be using Tuff-R) to build the 8' hexayurt. But when I look at the detailed instructions at http://www.appropedia.org/Hexayurt_playa_checklist it it says I need 240 yards, or 4 rolls. What has been the experience of those who have built the 8' version?
Also, I am considering downsizing to the 6' "stretch" hexayurt since it will only be 2 of us and will be cheaper to build but only see detailed instructions for the 8'. Anyone know a link to detailed instructions for the 6' stretch version or do people improvise off the 8' version? Thanks!
