Dear Maestro Vinay: Our large yurt with node stood up without difficulty in the higher winds. It was taped as directed inside and out, taped to the tarp, and guyed with the PVC tube/tape method. FYI we borrowed some 12 or 14 inch plastic stakes ( se my pics ) which were perfectly fixated, but much easier to set and remove than rebar.
