Thank you all... I've watched the video of assembly of the roof cone (very helpful, thank you).
Another newbie question - pre-taping?? Do any of you pre-tape some of the wall sections together? Or does this just make them a pain in the ass to handle? I see how pre-taping the roof cone/ sections may not be a good idea from the video (we had wanted to pretape sections and make the anchors ahead of time)... any feedback on this topic would be helpful. Please note: We ARE NOT attempting a folding hexayurt. Pretty sure it's too much for our little brains to handle for our first go round. And why on earth is everything ridiculously expensive in SF? 18.00 for one Rmax panel at the nearest Home Depot. I'm going to Builder's Supply to see if I can get a better price. That's nearly double my budget for panels :( As for extra hands, we'll just enlist the help of our playa neighbors :) What better way to make new friends, eh?
