Hrm ... an interesting thought ... If I recall the construction of Danger-style hinges, there is a small sleeve area, in the hinge itself. If your measurements are particularly accurate, and you have the ability to do so, drive some rebar that will fit into those sleeves straight down into the ground the appropriate distance and a touch more (I don't remember what that is for Burning Man) so that they are at least half the board-height above the ground. When you slide your hinges over them it adds to the ability of your hexayurt not moving about, with the other tape-lines staked down, to keep it from lifting straight up, you might be much less airborn than a kite. Measure carefully, though, because otherwise the stress of the differences will create moop.
