Whether your cutting Thermax, Hunter XCI, Rmax, Tuff-R panels etc etc best NOT use handsaws, powersaws, jig saws, band saws etc etc as they create messy Moop and don't create nice straight cuts..
Use a Wall Scraper like this one from Home Depot REF: https://is.gd/3y0auv Sharpen one edge with a flat file creating a nice sharp edge. You will also need some kind of straight edge.
