Making some progress covering the dome with poly iso board. This is a 2V
dome, 17ft in diameter, which is what i typically build because the longest
struts are 5ft long.

The insulation board usage was really efficient. I cut the board in thirds
(lengthwise) and then cut each of those in diagonal. These pieces were
taped together.

To get the triangle to fit in the panel, i first cut about one inch off the
top. Then i placed the panel in place on the dome to mark how much of the
bottom i need to cut off. This varied from 1.75 inch to just 1 inch.

The PVC pipe is one inch and insulation board is 1inch so it sits flush
with the pipe. I make further adjustments by cutting off the bottom corners
to get the bottom passwd the hubs. Then i tape it in place.

I plan on making a more detailed video once I complete the dome, but here
is a link to a youtube video of just the top as it was covered in the mean
time.
