That image is correct ie: representative; it's the right way 'round (and thank you Colin for finding it!)

  Perhaps the negative was reversed?

I was thinking that maybe there's a real artistic scandal here. Maybe Monet used a camera obscura when he was new...

Or maybe, as Simon suggests, a direct litho.

I thought it was an interesting print :-)
