And if you already have a Google Groups account but don't want to use the 
associated email address for this list,
1) sign out of google groups
2) then use the google groups link Alden provided
3) create a new google groups account with the email address you want to use
4) continue as normal

I don't know how many other people are in the habit of using multiple email 
addresses with a yahoo id, and selecting different addresses for different 
Yahoo groups.  That was my problem with Google Groups, I kept looking for a 
similar feature that isn't there.  Just create another Google Groups account 
with your preferred email address.
