Hi all, I took the earlier suggestion and made the proxying (proxing?) code that was contributed a SourceForge project: http://msjdbcproxy.sf.net. Right now it only has a provider for Hibernate, plus some directions on how to use it. It has solved my problem with the order of reading from a recordset, and additionally seems faster as well.
I updated the related bugs and forum postings with the link, I'd also like to update the related projects page with a link to make it easier for users to find it. However, I don't have the permissions for that page. Any feedback is much appreciated.
