Hi all,
I'm having troubles starting the trunk hippo-cms (r11329) on gentoo with
the sun-jdk-1.5.0.15 and sun-jdk-1.6.0.05 with maven-1.1. I tried in
both amd64 and a 32bit chroot. The repository binary runs without
problems but the cms just don't start. Attached the logs of fortress and
the wrapper for both environment.
I decided then to try out the tagged v6.05.03. I had to
<!--<war.bundle>true</war.bundle>--> line 650 in project.xml because
maven was complaining he couldn't recognize this option. after that
it built and once started and logged in the Document tab where
normally is the directory tree there is this message
An error occured during loading: String index out of range: -30
^r (mispell)
In all tests I didn't modify nor created a custom build.property all
option to default. for v6.05.03 I tried also the binary distribution and
got the same behavior. I closely followed the wiki even if I
didn't understand why to build the hippo-cocoon plugin a separate
cocoon distribution is needed. I probably misunderstood something but
looks like a chicken-egg problem to me.
Does anybody have an idea why hippo-cms wont start and what's the most
recent working release?thanks! Eli
