My guess would be that the openjms-client jar is missing in the pom. Can
you check this?

Probably because of these dependencies:
<!-- for CMS_JMSConnectionManagerImpl compiling -->
<dependency>
<id>cocoon:cocoon-jms</id>
<version>2.1.11-r20070223112521</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<id>geronimo-spec:geronimo-spec-jms</id>
<version>1.0-M1</version>
</dependency>

Subject: RE: [HippoCMS-dev] Missing jar in trunk?
Why would the CMS want to start a JMS server anyway??
Ard
When I start up the trunk of CMS 6 I get the following message:
2008/05/16 12:08:39 | INFO | jvm 1 | WARN! *** JMS block is
installed but jms client library not found. ***
2008/05/16 12:08:39 | INFO | jvm 1 | - For the jms
block to work
you must install and start a JMS server and place the client jar in
WEB-INF/lib.
Did someone forget this jar or should it be missing?
