Hi Reiner,

In types.xml you should add a category to the resources:

<resource name="type" label="Name" category="site1-category">

Then you limit that category to a specific url in locationmap.xml:

<match pattern="*:/content/site1">
    <location src="site1-category"/>
</match>
<match pattern="*:/content/site1/**">
    <location src="site1-category"/>
</match>

Hi all,

A client wants to maintain several (sub)sites within a single repository.
The obvious solution is to keep each site in a separate subfolder in
/content.

Now, some sites have very specific document types. To make life easier on
the content editors the client wants to restrict the document types
available based on in which the site (= subfolder) the document is created.
In other words whenever, trying to create a new document under
/content/site1 the CMS should only show the document types that are valid
for site1, under /content/site2 it should show the site2 documents, etc.

Is this possible/how to do this?

Thanks,

Reinier
