Hello Hippo, I am trying to make e-alert to work under MSSQL 2005 (client will use this version too). Unfortunately, I have not succeeded yet :-/. However, newsletter works fine!
Problem is that I can't receive email, not even test mail. I have successfully added e-alert through CMS. All needed tables are filled in correctly. I have data in these tables: - hca_users - hca_subscribers - hca_user_interests - hca_notifier_subscriptions But in the runtime table hca_notification_snippets and hca_user_notifications and several others should be filled, right? They are empty though... In log file I have these messages: - 'Didn't find any user notifications for subscriber with id:...' - ' Notifier testmail(): java.lang.IllegalStateException: Notifier id: 11 has no snippets attached to this mail.' - Unable to generate snippet... I have created DB schema using JPOX schemacreate command. I also have autocreate set to true and validation set to false in build.properties file. Few types were changed in profile/package.jdo file, because of MSSQL: - TINYINT to BIGINT - CLOB to LONGVARCHAR My CMS version is 6.05.03, HCA version is 2.02.02 and the latest version of sqljdbc.jar. When I used the same configuration and just changed database that I use from MSSQL to mysql, E-alert component works fine with the latest HCA version and with mysql. Could you give me some idea what should be changed in order to make it work under MSSQL, please?
