Hi Francesco,

Good to hear you found a way to use your CMS content with portlets. Eventough this is one way to achieve your goal, you might also want to try Hippo Portal [1]. It's a JSR-168 compliant Portal and has some usefull components for you.

Kind Regards,

Jeroen Reijn

Hi all,
I have this requirement: show - through one or more JSR-168 portlets - some content generated by Hippo CMS 6 and stored into a Hippo Repository 1.2.X.

I've been trying the following solution:

  1. download hippo-site-skeleton
  2. modify project.xml to include pluto and cocoon-portal
  3. run maven clean cocoon:war
  4. add a few jars inside WEB-INF/lib (the "endorsed" ones)
  5. make some path corrections inside the generated war directory
  6. make some adjustments for using a new instance of the
     LinkRewriterTransformer and the PortletURLModule
  7. change the way the links are generated using portlet:render: and
     portlet:resource
  8. package the war again
  9. deploy inside Glassfish Portlet Container and Sun Portal Server 7.1

So far, so good: the portlets are showing correctly their content (including CSS and images) and links are working.

Now my question is: is this way the right one (or the only one?) to satisfy the requirement expressed above?
Thanks for your support.

Cheers.
