Hi,
I have a repository and a frontend together running on Tomcat using a SqlServer
database.
Lately, I have problems restarting everything, where the problem seems to be
that the repository won't start up correctly.
Looking through the logs I see three exceptions logged in fortress.<date>.log:
Two exceptions are related to the jobscheduler/quartz, caused by: "Scheduler with
name 'Cocoon' already exists"
They are followed by three warnings looking like:
Unable to load class
org.apache.avalon.excalibur.datasource.JdbcDataSource. Skipping.
Unable to load class
org.apache.avalon.excalibur.datasource.J2eeDataSource. Skipping.
Unable to load class
org.apache.avalon.excalibur.datasource.InformixDataSource. Skipping.
...
Seems obvious that the repo is not functioning, although this may only be
saying that the scheduler not being instantiated.
The other exception I see is:
org.exolab.jms.server.ServerException: org.exolab.jms.persistence.PersistenceException:
org.exolab.core.foundation.FailedToCreateDatabaseException: Failed to create database /opt/hippo/data/openjms/openjms
b/cjava.io.IOException: Cannot acquire lock=/opt/hippo/data/openjms/openjms.lock - a lock exists that will expire at

Coincidently the time I did manage to get everything running again is right
after 6:09 PM.
I saw also mentioned somewhere that the wrapper.conf contains an instruction to delete that openjms.lock file before
startup. But of course, when running on Tomcat, wrapper is not used.
May this be the real problem?
If so, one thing I could do is delete that file from the Tomcat startup script.
Any help is appreciated.
