Hi Francesco,

is it so that the AJAX call seems to hang your browser or does it actually stalls and wait for a server response? If it's just your browser, it could be due to the browser?

No: when I fire some AJAX events, like the double-click, every browser I tried (Firefox on Linux/Mac/Windows, Safari on Mac, IE on Windows) does the same: it hangs. At the same time the application server becomes unresponsive and I have to manually kill the Glassfish process.

If it can help, when I first access the web application after starting Glassfish and I go to the "Documents" or "Assets" tab, the panels on the right side keep loading for a long while and then I got a "Cannot find HTTP headers in the response: 404". If I logout / login, everything is working, instead. I found that if I pre-load some URls immediately after logging in (patching the login.js), I can avoid this behavior; the URLs are:

"/workbench/remoteCallAjax/explorer/references/content/",
"/workbench/remoteCallAjax/explorer/references/binaries/",
"/workbench/remoteCallAjax/explorer/detail/binaries/",
"/workbench/remoteCallAjax/explorer/proplistform/binaries/",
"/explorer/proplist2formmodel/binaries/"

Any idea?

What kind of behaviour do you experience and does it happen on you development environment or does it also happen in your production environment?

I don't have any production, Glassfish-based, environment yet mainly because of this bug. At the moment everything is working - fine - in Tomcat.

Cheers.

Hello,
I am still having fun with Glassfish & Hippo CMS 6.X :-)
I noticed some strage behaviors occasionally when firing some AJAX events: double-clicking on a document to open it, for example, causes the application to hang completely, while clicking on "Edit document" works like a charm. I suspect that there should be some issue with Glassfish and the AJAX framework, that unfortunately I mostly ignore :-(
Do you have any hint about what should I start googling around?
Thanks for the support.
