We have been having processing problems for a while now and cannot resolve it. It only happens on weekends. When we embed and cut on Monday morning, alot of our larger pieces of tissue, especially breast, are not fixed and processed well. I would expect the opposite especially since they are in formalin for an additional 48 hours. We do not work Saturdays (sorry guys) so the tissue is grossed and submitted on Friday.
