A researcher wants to measure the length of the intestinal crypts and asked for a suggestion on what type of stain to use. I am thinking of using a phloxine/tartrazine stain and do a double stain with a GMS to show the basement membrane. What is your opinion on this? Do you have other suggestions that would work better?
