Bonjour,

We currently use cardboard slide folders to transport our histology
slides from the histology laboratory to the pathologist offices. The
histology laboratory is a biosafety level 2 lab while the pathologist
offices are in a "non-contaminated" office area. Does any other
laboratory have this problem? How do you deal with potential
contamination issue from the cardboard folders (which are never
disinfected)? Have you considered switching to plastic folders for
this reason? Can folders be disinfected? Autoclaved?

Any advice or comments on this issue will be greatly appreciated
