If I want to remove a cover slip that is coversliped with permount. Do I need to use xylene to get rid of the semi hardened permount gunk?
Also, If I am heating paraffin sectioned slides overnight at 37C to adhere them what happens if I over cook them by leaving them at 37C for more than one day? Say 3-4 days at 37C It probably wont hurt them as they haven't been epitope retrieved yet.
