This is New Mexico where "humidity" is a rumor. The humidity in the lab here - as I write - is 18% and that's on a really wet day! If I have static issues with my ribbons, I just lean a little bit toward the block and "breathe" on it and the ribbons just float (in a good way) off the knife. I do that so often that when I use my sewing machine, I find myself breathing on the material. That's just sad! But try the Breathing Thing. Or not.
