If you xylene recycler works according to standard and maintained properly, the recycled xylene you obtain is of equal quality to the xylene you buy from your usual supplier. It can be used in any and all steps of your processing and staining protocols, and there is no way it could "damage" your or any other tissue processing using xylene. All the "difficulties" with recycled xylene are caused by improper recycling. René J.
