The Microm Ergostar is a great option for those labs that cannot afford a fully automated microtome. I used one for years after my carpal tunnel surgery and highly recommend it. It is a rotary microtome but you have a push/pull handle instead of a wheel. And it is suitable for right or left-handed techs and completely adjustable.
