We are a small lab, avg. 200/blocks/day. Our PA comes in at 0800, cleans up the gross room, cryostat, etc and usually starts with the placenta's from the previous night's deliveries. Also, she does all the frozen, and since our OR's start at 0730, we often have frozen by 0800 or soon after. I think it just all depends on the extra duties and when your Ors run.
