Hi Sheryl,

Yes, 24 hour fixation will do it. The only thing that formalin does not
inactivate is prions.

Subject: [Histonet] Rabies tissue Fixed in Formalin.

Hi,
Does anyone have any knowledge and literature on whether or not 10%NBF
inactivates rabies in animal tissue during fixation?
Thanks,
Sheryl.
