The Awards Committee, formed from the Officers and Directors of the society, carefully evaluate all nominees and supporting documentation submitted for the scholarships. Recipients are presented their award at the New York State Histotechnological Society annual spring meeting.
To be eligible, please send an application to the Awards Chairperson specifying the award you are applying for and include the following items: You must be a member in good standing (the current year). A letter from you showing evidence of your commitment to the profession. One letter of recommendation from a supervisor, pathologist, histotechnologist or professor. Name and address of your current employer or school, your current mailing address and email address. Applications are due March 31st, 2015.
