I have a TBS shur/trim and I love it compared to 2 others I have used. It has
a large surface and its Teflon so it does not tear up the blocks.
What can't be heat trimmed is the writing portion of the block with the case
number and scan portion if this is the method used in your lab. Hope
my input helps.
