Hi Jennifer - It was my understanding that the recall was particularly related to the flammability of the freeze spray. If you can find a spray with out a flammability hazard you can keep using the spray. I don't have a lot of frozen sections in my current job. But in my last job, and my experience in hospitals to get rapid results for patients still on the table sprays are used. In cases of TB they are discouraged.
