It’s been a while, but I got the best results with the Chandler Kit from
American Mastertech. Funny story: I was working at a large reference lab when
I was preparing for the HT exam. This was when we still did a practical
(dating myself😂). I HATED our relic stain protocol, so I bought myself the kit
from AM. I did my slide for my registry, and when the pathologist saw the
stain, he immediately made the manager change our procedure because the results
were so much better! Now, Statlab bought out AM, so I am unsure if the kit is
still available, but it’s worth a look :)
Best of luck!

Subject: [Histonet] Retic Poll

Hi Techs - For those of you performing a Manual Retic Stain -
What method do you use? And do you use a kit? Or make your own regent
components?
Thanks, in advance, for the information.
