Actually the question is totally appropriate. My own argument is that 'delete' only applies to factual mistakes and has no place in archiving historic data, but it will be some time before we can access a view of the data as physically present at a point in time. The version control history is not the right place for physical data ... we do need a way to maintain it as live data somewhere ... -- Lester Caine - G8HFL ----------------------------- Contact - http://lsces.co.uk/wiki/?page=contact L.S.Caine Electronic Services - http://lsces.co.uk EnquirySolve - http://enquirysolve.com/ Model Engineers Digital Workshop - http://medw.co.uk Rainbow Digital Media - http://rainbowdigitalmedia.co.uk _______________________________________________ Historic mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/historic
