Wikimedia Commons has a range straddling your time-period (
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Old_maps_of_Chicago?uselang=en-gb).
In common with many maps on the commons many are too small to read all the
detail (see the John Snow map in Mapwarper <http://mapwarper.net/maps/8423>),
but given the commonality in road layouts much can be deduced.
