This is great. I have few questions..
1) What would be the syntax to create user/passwd combos and logging in?
2) Are the permissions stored in metastore are per user or per table or a
combo?
3) Do we really need groups? I don't think MySQL implements groups.
4) I am totally naive in authentication systems, but I am assuming only access
details are stored in metastore and authentication is done by one of the
systems discussed. is that correct?
