I've already created it on Javaforge. The project is called "hivemind" and it will be used to house reusable hivemind modules.

There have been much development in this direction lately and loosing some pieces along the way would be a shame. If you think javaforge could be a good way (infact also Howard and others choose it) go for it but take the time to spread a voice on organize the efforts.
