Thanks James for being so responsive. You e-mail to enter the Jira issue came in right after I ducked out to get the kids... :) Do you know if Apache snapshot's the CVS anywhere for hivemind? I'm still working on anonymous CVS access through the corporate firewall... :)

It has been resolved and the code (along with test case) is checked into CVS. So, if you want, you can download the latest and greatest from CVS and do a build (quite easy to do). The current version should work for you. I'm working on it now. Since you discovered it, would you mind putting an issue into JIRA for this? I'll work on it in the meantime. Thanks. If it is, then it's probably a safe bet that it's broken in alpha-3. :-) -----Original Message----- From: Hensley, Richard [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, April 26, 2005 8:01 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Bean Services I'm using alpha-3 by the way, not cvs. -----Original Message----- From: James Carman [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, April 26, 2005 4:59 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Bean Services The autowiring is supposed to work. Let me try out a test case and I'll get back with you shortly. -----Original Message----- From: Hensley, Richard [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, April 26, 2005 7:57 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Bean Services Does autowiring work for Bean Services? I can seem to manually use the set-property element of the BuilderFactory to property configure my objects, but when I let autowire work, the services with interfaces autowire, but the ones that do not have interfaces do not autowire. I bet this has something to do with the derived interface magic that goes into the Bean Service logic.
