Glen,

There is an issue for this logged in jira

http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVEMIND-116 and
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVEMIND-117

One of these days, I'm planning on implementing them. The issues have a
reasonable design.

By the way, one of the reasons it was not done is because it is not as easy
as it would first appear to be. Getting this to work will the appropriate
service models is tricky.
