A CALL TO THE BELIEVERS
OH MUSLIMS! THIS IS A CALL TO ALL OF YOU! OH MUSLIMS across the world, in the
East and the West, fight the enemy
in person and with your wealth! Fight the enemy with your supplications to
Allah Most High that he may bestow victory upon your
brothers who are oppressed in Chechnya!
During Ramadan, your prayers and supplications had a tremendous impact on the
Mujahideen, whose morale was raised and whose
determination was strengthened. YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPLICATIONS WERE CRITICAL
IN DEFEATING THE ENEMIES
OF ALLAH ON THE BATTLE FIELD; indeed the Mujahideen felt the power of your Dua
on the battlefield as they switched from
defensive strategies to offensive tactics, a move that lead to the decisive
defeat of enemy forces on numerous occasions.
The war is not over however, and the heavy bombardment continues. WHY HAVE YOU
STOPPED OR REDUCED YOUR DUA
FOR THE MUJAHIDEEN? have you become exhausted by standing in the middle of the
night and asking Allah to bestow His mercy
and victory upon your brothers in Chechnya? Or were you impatient in seeking a
speedy answer to your prayers? All Muslims should
know that Allah will never tire from listening to your supplications and
prayers. He will only stop listening to them when you stop
raising your hands in Dua.
The Mujahideen and your brothers and sisters in Chechnya call upon you to join
them in their battle against the enemies of Allah Most
High; YOU CAN FIGHT THE ENEMY DIRECTLY BY MAKING CONTINUOUS DUA FOR YOUR
BROTHERS, AND YOU
WILL FEEL THE POWER OF YOUR DUA MANIFESTING ITSELF ON THE BATTLEFIELD. All
Muslims are called upon to
make Dua for the Mujahideen without pause until Allah bestows complete victory
upon the Muslims in Chechnya. And may all of you,
dear brothers and sisters be aware THAT YOUR DUA IS MORE POWERFUL THAN THE
MOST SOPHISTICATED WEAPONS
AND MIGHTIER THAN THE STRONGEST MILITARY MACHINES.
Defeat the weakness in yourselves, and make Dua for your brothers during the
five obligatory prayers as well as during the night
prayers, Witr and Qiyam. Make Dua that the Mujahideen are victorious, and that
the harsh conditions faced by your brothers are
quickly overcome. We are in a situation of difficulty that none other than
Allah Most High knows about; enemy planes are bombing us
from over our heads, and artillery rains shells at us without pause. SO GIVE
GENEROUSLY BY MAKING DUA, FIGHT JIHAD
THROUGH SUPPLICATIONS AND SUPPORT YOUR BROTHERS BY REMEMBERING THEM DURING
YOUR
PROSTRATION'S AND WHEN YOU ARE ALONE WITH ALLAH MOST HIGH. INDEED ALLAH DOES
NOT WASTE THE
REWARD OF ONE WHO DOES GOOD.

Monday 31 January 2000 Mujahideen Shoot Down Two Russian Aircraft
On Sunday, Russian forces attempted to land a paratrooper unit near the
village of Kakhwy in the region of Surt. By the Grace of
Allah Most High, the Mujahideen detected this attempted landing in advance of
its undertaking and managed to ambush the enemy
force. Mujahideen sources confirmed that fifteen (15) of the Russian unit’s 25
members were killed in the attack. The remaining ten
escaped into nearby woods. For more than two days now, Russian aircraft
launched extensive search operations for the surviving
members of the doomed unit. Today, just before Dhuhr (midday) prayers, the
Mujahideen attacked a formation of rescue helicopters.
By the Grace of Allah, the Mujahideen shot down one of the formation’s five
helicopters and turned the aerial rescue party into a
hunted prey.
On another front, the Mujahideen also shot down a fighter-bomber near
Alkhazur, on the outskirts of Grozny
Mujahideen Attack Russian Units at Montka:
After having successfully defended Montka against consecutive Russian attacks
for nearly a week, the Mujahideen attacked a large
concentration of enemy troops that was located within the vicinity of the
Grozny suburb. By the Grace of Allah, the Mujahideen
inflicted severe losses upon the enemy. Mujahideen sources confirm that a
Russian unit was attacked in a building within the suburb,
and that more than one hundred (100) Russian soldiers were killed and twelve
vehicles destroyed in the attack. The successful
Mujahideen attack brings the casualty toll of Russian forces at Montka to more
than 300 killed and more than 25 vehicles destroyed in
five days of fighting in and around this small suburb of the capital.(Also see

In other suburbs of Grozny, the Mujahideen attacked Russian units at Karbinka.
Two enemy vehicles were destroyed and several
Russian soldiers, including a Colonel were killed in the attack.
Many Civilians Killed by Russian Bombing:
Russian forces continued their indiscriminate shelling of civilians in Grozny
and most other populated centers across Chechnya.
Although no specific figure could be confirmed, Mujahideen sources have
reported large numbers of civilian casualties in the Russian
bombardment of the capital and other populated centers in Chechnya.
ALL MUSLIMS ARE URGED TO MAKE DUA THAT ALLAH MAY BRING VICTORY TO THE
MUJAHIDEEN AND TO
GRANT THE MUSLIMS OF CHECHNYA PATIENCE AND HIS DIVINE MERCY.
