assalamualaikum,
it's easy to say "the proposed tax would be for the 
construction of needed infrastructures for poor
countries, which would create jobs and generate wealth
for these nations." but not all poor countries have
good leaders.if the propose tax becomes a reality and
effectively reach the hands of leaders like
mahader,these poor countries would become much poorer
and their leaders get richer, very quickly.join the
club!!!!
